ASX is set for an interesting week after the Royal Commission into Banking, Financial Services & Insurance report released last Monday. SPI is currently trading 4 points lower at 6007.
It was a mixed closed in US on Friday with Dow Jones closed down 0.3%, S & P closed up 0.1% & Nasdaq also closed up 0.1%. In Europe, FTSE closed down 0.3%, CAC down 0.5% & DAX down 1.1%.
AUDUSD also edged lower 0.2% currently trading at US 0.7085 cents while Gold traded higher 0.3% at US 1314.50, while Iron Ore closed flat at US 85.53 a tonne. After a week focussed on Royal Commission and RBA, investors will turn this week to a mix of confidence, inflation data & Corporate reporting season starts this week.
